从Sanmu Ding到Oliver Peterson
今天听到一个好笑的故事：当年有个叫丁三木（Sanmu Ding）的中国人来到美国，在移民局排队办理手续时站在他前面的那个人名叫Oliver Peterson。 轮到他时移民官员问他叫什么名字，他说：Sanmu Ding, 可是那个移民官员却硬是在他的入境卡上写下了Oliver Peterson名字。事后他干脆也就取名Oliver Peterson。 当别人问起他为什么叫这么个奇怪的名字时，他解释说当时移民官肯定是把Sanmu Ding听成了Same Thing！
